We have all heard that ‘breast is best’, but for a large proportion of new mums breastfeeding does not come naturally. The Whittington Health and Haringey Council provide friendly breastfeeding support services for when you find yourself struggling in those tough early days.
The groups are free of charge and run by trained breastfeeding and lactation consultants. For most groups there is no need to book an appointment; just drop in for support and help on all aspects of breastfeeding your child. The groups are a nice way to meet other mums and support one another.
