The Sash Window Workshop

The Sash Window Workshop was established in 1994 and has this year celebrated 25 years of business. The company specialises in the replacement and repair of traditional timber windows and external doors.

Initially operating from a small converted pig shed, the company has grown and now operates from a large workshop. All their replacement windows and doors are manufactured in the UK, helping support British jobs. This also means that The Sash Window Workshop can ensure that their products meet the high standards that they expect, with regular quality checks taking place during and after manufacture.

The company recommend using a timber called Accoya, which comes with a 50 year anti-rot guarantee, in addition to The Sash Window Workshop’s 20 year joinery guarantee. Accoya is a sustainably sourced modified wood which has high stability and is extremely durable. In fact, Accoya is often used as the benchmark against which other timbers are measured.

The Sash Window Workshop provides a range of bespoke timber window and door services in the Muswell Hill area, from complete replacement to draught proofing and overhaul. The loyal and dedicated staff, many of whom have served with the company for much of its 25 years, provide the backbone of the business.
