Everyone has the potential to learn – and CPotential’s here to make that happen.

CPotential is a registered charity based in Muswell Hill. It has been supporting disabled children and their families since 1963.

The charity offers life-changing learning to help disabled children grow in confidence, skills and independence so that they can achieve their potential.

About CPotential

We work mainly with children from babies to 15 years old who have movement disorders due to conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, global development delay or Down’s Syndrome. Some of the children have additional difficulties with sensory processing or communication. Children come to us from all over Greater London.

We use the principles of Conductive Education as part of a holistic approach including  music therapy, Rebound therapy and occupational therapy to help each child:

  • develop their mobility, movement, sensory, communication, emotional, problem-solving and self-help skills
  • take an active part in the learning process.

We run group sessions during the week,on Saturdays and in the holidays.

Sessions are free for children under 3 and we charge small fees for older children.

Above all, we create a warm, supportive, fun learning environment and celebrate each child’s achievements.

We also provide support for parents in person and through a series of information videos on topics such as Clinical Negligence, Making SEN Appeals and Music Therapy..

Mollii Suit assessments

We offer free assessments for adults and children to try the Mollii Suit assistive device, designed to alleviate spasticity and improve muscle tone to make everyday life easier.
