Established 12 years ago, the London Football Academy delivers innovative courses for boys and girls aged 5-14 that promise to excite and inspire.
LFA believes that children participating in sport must do so in a safe and secure environment. Operating a strict child protection policy, all coaches are FA qualified, DBS checked, and possess up to date FA credited Child Protection and Emergency Aid certificates.
The LFA was started by Martin Egan (born & bred in Muswell Hill) in response to fellow parents’ need for their children to participate more actively in sport. With obesity rapidly becoming the number one cause of disease and ill health, the need for children to remain active and energetic has never been greater. LFA is offering weekday and weekend classes.
Many studies also demonstrate that playing football will improve your child’s fitness levels, speed, agility and quickness – all extremely important in a young child’s development. Hence, the LFA is totally committed to developing children as both players and individuals. Your child will come away from the courses with increased confidence, self-esteem and self-assurance.
Working closely with local Government and primary schools, the LFA delivers safe and fun coaching sessions. LFA now runs over-subscribed after school clubs Muswell Hill as well as in 4 different London boroughs, and continue to deliver holiday soccer schools in nearby Alexandra Park.
LFA is also proud of the links with local schools and clubs and coach over 3,000 children every week. This includes the delivery of PE lessons and the coaching of the majority of teams at Alexandra Park Youth FC – the biggest youth football club in London.
Unlike many other coaching companies, LFA is run on a full-time professional basis with an experienced team of coaches.
Watching the very youngest players play the game at grassroots level seems a world away from the game played by the senior players in the elite game.
However, vision of developing technically excellent and creative players starts with one of the soccer schools or after school clubs – the best introduction to the world’s greatest game.
